The loss is the Badgers’ fifth consecutive to finish the campaign. That streak is the program’s longest since 1991: Barry Alvarez’s second year as the coach. It also clinches the program’s first losing season since 2001, which will likely snap its record bowl streak at 22 years barring several long-shot upsets.
