Human remains returned to Israel by Hamas on Friday have been confirmed as those of former hostage Shiri Bibas, according to a statement from her family provided Saturday by the hostage relatives’ forum.

Children and brothers Kfir and Ariel Bibas, symbols of the worst assault on Jews since the Holocaust, were kidnapped along with their mother by Hamas.

A body released by Palestinian militants overnight was confirmed to be Shiri Bibas, the Israeli mother whose two young sons also died in captivity.
