After record heat this week in Houston, a cold front will arrive just in time to cool things off for Thanksgiving. By sunrise on Thursday, the winds will be gusty, temperatures will be cooler, and there may even be a few spotty light showers lingering behind the front.

The first cold front is expected to arrive late Monday night, but the stronger front will send temperatures falling on Thanksgiving.
