(KKTV) - Thursday night, law enforcement recommended charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping and burglary for a woman accused of shooting a 7-year-old’s father and taking off with the child. Crystal Denmon, 26, is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and first-degree kidnapping. Authorities located the 7-year-old boy safely after an Amber Alert was issued earlier that day.

Police have deactivated an Amber Alert for a missing boy. The suspect, a 26-year-old woman, is believed to have shot a man in Lakewood before allegedly kidnapping the child.
