After months of feverish anticipation, the wait is finally over after Emirates officially unveiled its brand new (and first ever) Airbus A350.

To perhaps nobody’s surprise, Emirates is standardising on the same “next generation” business class as its Boeing 777 refit – a seat which the airline now appears to be re-branding as the ‘S Lounge’, a design “inspired by the Mercedes S Class for an exceptional travel experience.”

Emirates Airline hopes by next summer to be operating both versions of the Airbus A350-900 it has on order, as deliveries of the widebody twin to the Gulf carrier ramp up.
