Nile Rodgers expects Sir Rod Stewart to “pinch [his] bum” at Glastonbury next year.

Nile Rodgers has revealed he will perform at Glastonbury 2025 immediately following Sir Rod Stewart. The Chic star and mastermind behind some of the most legendary pop albums shared the news with press at the Rolling Stone UK Awards at London’s Camden Roundhouse, where he was honoured with the Global Icon award.

"I’m proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June," Stewart said.

Rod Stewart will play the “legends” slot at Britain’s Glastonbury Festival next year, more than two decades after he headlined the music festival.

The Sailing musician was the first act to be confirmed for the legendary British festival on Tuesday morning. Stewart will take to the famed Pyramid Stage on the Sunday afternoon slot on 29 June following in the footsteps of previous legend performers Dolly Parton,
