Walt Disney Co. is integrating Hulu and Disney+ into one app, the entertainment company announced Wednesday. During an earnings call, CEO Bob Iger said Disney would combine the two streaming services to create a "unified app experience" that will feature entertainment, news and sports.
"The Summer of Songbirds" is getting the TV adaptation treatment at Hulu. The Disney-owned streamer is in the midst of developing a series adaptation of Kristy Woodson Harvey's novel, which is set to be written and executive produced by "The Power" producer Brennan Peters.
