Primarily a left tackle, Humphries played right tackle as a rookie and could be in play as the 49ers’ swing tackle behind left tackle Trent Williams and right tackle Colton McKivitz. That role was previously filled by Jaylon Moore, who signed a two-year, $30 million free agent deal with the Chiefs.

AMDG Sports announced their client, OT D.J. Humphries, has agreed to terms on a contract with the 49ers on Tuesday. According to Nick Wagoner, Humphries is receiving a one-year deal. Humphries, 31, is a former first-round pick out of Florida by the Cardinals in the 2015 NFL Draft.
