Pierce Brosnan is well known for fleshing out the character of the iconic James Bond in multiple films centering on the character.

Dame Helen Mirren is all for women taking over the world — just not the world of James Bond. In a new interview with Saga magazine alongside her Thursday Murder Club costar Pierce Brosnan, the Oscar winner admitted she didn't think the next James Bond star should be a woman.

Speaking of James Bond, Brosnan starred as the iconic British spy from 1995 to 2002, appearing in four of the franchise’s films. Speaking on Today in April 2024, Brosnan said he “could get away” with returning as the character “in a pinch.”
