The coaches got conservative, played not to lose and that is not a recipe for winning football. They can’t motivate this team to play four quarters and the team continues to be an undisciplined mess at the worst times. Five more games before the nightmare is over and yet another rebuild begins.

When a team fires its head coach and general manager in-season, the thought is the season is basically over and it’s time to start thinking about next year.
