By noontime, look for heavy rain in southern NH and beginning in southern Maine. Heavy snow is moving into the foothills of western Maine where temperatures are closer to that freezing mark. A defined rain-snow line will build and set-up on the west side of the I-95 corridor. Between 1PM and 8PM will be our worst travel times.

Thanksgiving Day, we’re anticipating the first snowfall of the season for many towns. Rain and snow arrive in southwestern Maine this morning, gradually moving inland and expanding during the afternoon.

The storm is expected to reach its height between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. and could bring 3 to 6 inches of snow to inland areas of the state.

A storm will track off the coast of Maine through Thanksgiving day and into Thursday night bringing widespread rain and inland snow. Where the snow/rain line sets up is still in question, but mostly rain at the coast with mostly snow inland is likely.
