The bill made its way to the House, where some Republicans have reservations that have stopped it from advancing.

The bill would cut $1.1 trillion in health-care spending and result in 11.8 million people losing health coverage over the next decade, according to estimates.

Between North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota, close to 285,000 people are projected to lose health insurance coverage by 2034.
