Julian Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz started their battle in the spring with both having high and low moments. That continued on the first day of camp as the Buckeye continues what’s becoming a consistent approach to the early days of the preseason. Depth charts are essentially thrown out, as Day split the roster into two groups to maximize reps.

In less than one month, the Ohio State Buckeyes will take the field against the Texas Longhorns to open the 2025 season. Preparations are well underway to see who will get the nods to start in the regular season opener.
