Google has launched PixelSnap magnetic accessories with Qi2 wireless tech for Pixel 10 phones, bringing MagSafe-Style charging to Android.

Annual upgrades don't usually make sense — unless it's the Pixel 10. It's got so many upgrades that it tempts you to ditch the Pixel 9.

Every phone in the Pixel 10 lineup. announced today, has Qi2 magnetic wireless charging at up to 15W. The Pro XL has Qi2.2 and can charge at up to 25W, which is great and all, but wireless charging isn’t the cool part. The magnets are the cool part.

While the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL all look great, the base model might have gotten the biggest upgrade thanks to a new telephoto camera.

To nobody’s surprise, there’s a new Tensor G5 chip, with a 35% faster CPU, powering everything. The Pixel 10 comes with 12GB of RAM standard and two storage options (128GB and 256GB). And for the first time on any Pixel phone, there’s built-in Satellite SOS, which works more or less the same as it does on newer iPhones.

Google has officially announced the Pixel 10 lineup, and there’s a lot to dig into. Like last year, there are four devices — the Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold — and the phones have some nice improvements and new features that might be worth the upgrade.
