A Republican thorn in Donald Trump’s side is joining forces with a California Democrat to seek answers from the administration over sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Kentucky Rep. In a post to Truth Social on Wednesday morning, Trump railed against Democrats, and some of his own supporters, calling the furor over the Epstein case a "hoax."

The Republican majority on the House Rules Committee voted against allowing the amendment to be added to the cryptocurrency-related "Genius Act."
