Judge Frank Caprio, a former judge for the Providence Municipal Court, died following a bout with pancreatic cancer, according to a statement posted to social media.

The Rhode Island jurist became known for his compassion in handing out justice and gained millions of followers from his reality TV show “Caught in Providence.”
