RICHMOND, Va. — Here’s a look at the winners and losers from Sunday’s Cup race at Richmond. Austin Dillon — He snapped a 37-race winless streak with his second consecutive victory at Richmond — and did it without the controversy of last year’s race.

Austin Dillon picked up the win at Richmond on a night where tires were the story. Richard Boswell called a great race, and Dillon executed. The racing at Richmond Raceway for the Cook Out 400 was perhaps the best NASCAR race at the track in years.

There were 24 lead changes at Richmond Raceway in a 400-lap event that featured nonstop action. The tire falloff made for a fascinating race with multiple strategies throughout the field. And in the end, the NASCAR Cup Series had its 14th different winner of the 2025 season as Austin Dillon locked himself into the playoffs.
