A good Samaritan who went outside to grab a delivery found two infant girls who were dumped in a ditch near his Indiana home after the car they were in was stolen.

INDIANAPOLIS — A man who left his home to get a package found two baby girls strapped in their car seats sitting in a ditch. The temperatures were below freezing at the time when Robert Deane found them near his Indianapolis home, the Indy Star reported.

Robert Deane was waiting for a package when he discovered 4- and 5-month-old girls in car seats abandoned in the cold across the street from his house.
