Roblox game developer Gamefam has teamed up with Sega to bring Sonic the Hedgehog to the Roblox platform for the first time.

Roblox is getting an official Sonic the Hedgehog game backed by Sega called Sonic Speed Simulator. It's available for purchase for now but will go free-to-play this weekend on April 16 at 10 AM EST.

The 3D animated Sonic the Hedgehog show will air through Roblox on Saturday, December 10 at 7am PT, 10am ET, 3pm UK. The series will consist of 24-episodes aimed at kids, families, and long-time fans.
