Frank Lampard joins the Sky Blues after a disastrous spell at Chelsea where he oversaw one win and eight defeats. That was preceded by an awful period as Everton manager.

Frank Lampard has been appointed as manager of Championship side Coventry City, the club confirmed on Thursday. Lampard, who has signed a 2 ½ year deal, replaces Mark Robins, who was sacked on Nov. 7 after their seventh loss in 14 league games.

The Championship outfit have appointed Lampard on a two-and-a-half-year deal as he returns to coaching after 18 months out.
