History was made at the awards with Mohamed Salah picking up his third PFA Player of the Year trophy while Mariona Caldentey won the top women’s award.

Arsenal Women and Spanish international Mariona Caldentey has been crowned the PFA Player of the Year for the 2024/25 campaign. The award was announced on August 19, following what was an outstanding debut season in North London.

It was a night to remember at the Manchester Opera House as we had plenty of involvement in the PFA Awards. Mariona Caldentey was crowned Women’s Player of the Year, while she was included in the Women’s Team of the Year alongside Emily Fox, Kim Little and Alessia Russo.
