Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort assistant professional Brian Bergstol is 2-over par after 7 holes today in the first round of the PGA Championships at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bergstol, a Bangor High School and Moravian College graduate, is playing in his second major. He qualified for the U.S. Open in 2008.
