Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has said Max Verstappen still intends to stay with the team for next year despite speculation about a move to Mercedes which would shake up Formula 1.

With rumours abound that Verstappen could be tempted to join Mercedes for F1 2026, he was once again questioning the performance of his Red Bull following Friday practice at Silverstone

As Red Bull boss Christian Horner continues to make clear, Verstappen is under contract with the team through 2028. This allows Horner to dismiss the discussion around a potential Verstappen move as noise, as he did during the Austrian Grand Prix.
