In a season full of rocky losses, the Rockies’ 4-3, walk-off loss to the Reds on Saturday was one of the rockiest.

Will Benson tied it in the ninth inning with an RBI triple and scored on second baseman Orlando Arcia's fielding error to give the Cincinnati Reds a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday.

"There's so much less certainty of the grouping near the top," said Reds director of amateur scouting, Joe Katuska said.

Facing Rockies fireball-closer Victor Vodnik in the ninth inning and trailing, 3-2, Cincinnati's Will Benson tripled off the top of the wall in left-center field. He nearly walked the Rockies off, but at least he drove in Spencer Steer, who had led off the inning with a single, to tie the contest at Great American Ball Park.

The Rockies had multiple heroes and they needed every one of them in their 3-2 win over the Reds on Friday night at Great American Ball Park.

The Rockies entered Friday night 21-72. Seventy-two losses, and the Reds couldn't beat them in a 3-2 loss Friday night. Colorado started German Marquez Friday night, who entered with a record of 3-10. The Reds scored just one run off him.

For the first time in De La Cruz's career, he was intentionally walked three times in a single game. That was consequential in the Colorado Rockies' 3-2 victory over the Reds Friday, July 11.
