An off-duty New York City police officer fatally shot a man in Washington Heights on Sunday night, police said.

Authorities in New York City are investigating a shooting in a crowded club that left three people dead and nine others wounded.

Olivia Pratt-Korbel was killed when drug dealer Thomas Cashman opened fire while chasing another criminal in the Dovecot area of Liverpool on 22 August 2022. Following repeated witness appeals in the wake of her death, a prosecutor said many people were " afraid of coming forward " due to fear of reprisals.

It happened at around 4:50 p.m. near 215th Street East and E. Palmdale Boulevard, according to a news release​ from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Police said Jemille Edwards, better known as Skrilla, shot an officer in the face, neck, and chest with a toy gun filled with gel pellets.

A man was shot and killed on Route 302 in Maine Friday afternoon, and the suspected shooter, who was at large for most of Friday afternoon, was located amid an hours long shelter-in-place order, law enforcement officials said at an evening news conference.

A shooting at a party in Covina left a teenager dead on Saturday night, authorities confirmed. According to the Covia Police Department, multiple reports of a shooting came in around 10:15 p.m. after gunshots were heard in the 600 block of E. Camellia Drive. Upon arrival, officers found several partygoers fleeing the scene by running on the street.

The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, near Perkins and 23rd streets in Saginaw. Police said five people were shot while at a large gathering in the street. Officers found one victim who had been shot and hit by a car lying in the street. The individual is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
