Home Depot affirmed its full-year growth outlook for adjusted earnings per share to decline approximately 2%, for total sales to increase by about 2.8% and for comparable-sales growth of about 1%. Home Depot expects to open approximately 13 new stores during the year, in line with its prior guidance.

Retailers including Lowe’s and Walmart will hold earnings calls this week, which could indicate the impact of tariffs on spending.

Home Depot says just under 50% of its inventory is imported from suppliers outside the United States. The company says while some products will go up in price, it won’t be broad-based. The announcement comes after Home Depot said in May that it would not raise prices due to tariffs.
