Amazon workers around the world are on strike amid Black Friday and Cyber Monday — two of the company’s busiest days of the year.

Amid the busiest shopping weekend of the holiday season, workers for Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, have gone on strike. Protesting under the banner of “Make Amazon Pay.” employees have walked off the job across six continents in 20 countries,

Organized by UNI Global Union and Progressive International, the demonstrations aim to hold Amazon accountable for alleged labor abuses, environmental harm, and anti-union practices. Workers in major cities across the U.S., Europe, and Asia will join protests supported by unions and advocacy groups.
