U.S. federal regulators on Wednesday gave Venture Global LNG permission to increase the export capacity of its Plaquemines, Louisiana, LNG plant.

The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Wednesday approved Venture Global (NYSE:VG) to increase the export capacity of its Plaquemines, Louisiana, liquefied natural gas plant to 27.2M metric tons/year from 24M tons/year.

US producer Venture Global LNG has told its frustrated long-term customers that it is starting commercial operations at its Calcasieu Pass facility in Louisiana on 15 April 2025, three years after it first exported a cargo.
