Spotify announced in a developer blog post on Wednesday that it’s putting limits on third-party developers who want to build AI apps using data from its listeners (via TechCrunch).

Spotify has allowed developers to build upon its platform and arsenal of music since it opened its API way back in 2009, and has been iterating ever since.
