KANSAS CITY — In its 90-77 Thanksgiving loss to Illinois, the Arkansas men’s basketball team started 0 of 7 from the three-point line and didn’t hit a perimeter shot until the second half. Conversely, the Fighting Illini hit 9 of their 16 threes before halftime — two more than the Razorbacks hit in the whole 40 minutes.

Illinois showed that they are once again a legit threat in the Big Ten with this victory. Arkansas is expected to be a solid team this season, and the Fighting Illini made easy work of the Razorbacks on a neutral court as the two teams battled it out in Kansas City.
