A Boston police officer was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Boston on Tuesday, a department spokesperson said. Police learned that at around 2:30 p.m. of a driver in the area of Tremont and Stuart streets had hit several vehicles in the area,

A police spokesperson said Tuesday that the officer “was struck by the vehicle” about 2 p.m. in the area of Hamilton Place and Tremont Street, and that the driver was later apprehended on Albany Street.
