John Cena’s Peacemaker has gone from the big screen to the small screen, and many have questioned if the anti-hero could potentially have his own feature film. The DC Studios co-head James Gunn was recently asked if Peacemaker would jump back into the big screen following Season 2 of the HBO series.

Peacemaker Season 2 is officially arriving on August 21, 2025, on HBO Max, with John Cena reappearing as Christopher Smith in a fresh version of the DC Universe.
