At least 100 people have died, including more than two dozen campers and counselors from an all-girls summer camp, in the central Texas floods.

Texas Hill Country is known for its landscapes, where shallow rivers wind among hills and through rugged valleys. That geography also makes it one of the deadliest places in the U.S. for flash flooding.

Video released on Sunday (July 6) shows rescue teams navigating raging floodwaters in Marble Falls, Texas. The El Paso Fire Department said in Facebook post that members of its water rescue team "brought two victims clinging to a tree in dangerous floodwaters to safety.
