At least 13 people dead as Thailand and Malaysia face worst floods in decades - Hundreds of thousands of people displaced due to floods in Southeast Asia

Severe flooding in southern Thailand and northern Malaysia has resulted in at least 13 deaths and tens of thousands evacuated, affecting nearly 534,000 households and overwhelming emergency services.

At least 12 people have died and more than 600,000 households have been affected by the worst flooding in southern Thailand in decades, according to a government agency.
