Officials in Texas are facing mounting questions about whether they did enough to get people out of harm’s way before a flash flood swept down the Guadalupe River and killed more than 100 people, including at least 27 children and counselors at an all-girls Christian camp.
The clouds will stick around today, keeping temperatures below average again this afternoon, staying in the mid to upper 80s.

Independence Day fireworks are back in Denton on July 3 at the North Texas Fairgrounds. The festivities will also feature live music from Denton’s Raised Right Men, face painting, balloon art, and food and drinks for purchase.
