Police have identified the man fatally stabbed in Hartford on Sunday morning. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Main Street around 9:05 a.m. on a report of a person stabbed, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.

Hartford police are investigating a homicide following a fatal stabbing early Sunday morning. Officers were called to 2411 Main Street at approximately 9:05 a.m. after receiving a report of a person who had been stabbed.

HARTFORD — Police have identified the person who was fatally stabbed Sunday. Preston Adams, 63, of Wilson Street in Hartford, was stabbed Sunday morning in the North End of the city, Lt. Aaron Boisvert said. The deadly stabbing happened in the 2400 block of Main Street.

A suspect is in custody and man is deceased after a Sunday morning stabbing in Hartford. Authorities received reports of a stabbed individual at 2411 Main St. shortly after 9:00 a.m. At the scene, police located a man in his sixties suffering from a stab wound.

The shooting happened on Broad Street near Preston Street around 8:15 p.m. Saturday. A man in his 40s was taken to a hospital, where police said he was in critical but stable condition.

The Office of the Inspector General released the video and is investigating in coordination with Connecticut State Police.
