Prince William and Kate Middleton intend to move from the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate to another property in Windsor, Forest Lodge, by Christmas of this year. In doing so, the Prince and Princess of Wales have found their “forever home”—which includes staying there even after William takes the throne someday.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly seeking to "start afresh" at Forest Lodge after three difficult years in Adelaide Cottage. Queen Elizabeth II passed away shortly after the Wales family moved to Windsor in 2022. Middleton also underwent chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer while living there.
