Over the past year, the Google Pixel Tablet has received many updates and new features. It's now a much better product than when it launched.

Firstly, just last week, Android Authority reported that the Pixel Tablet 2 was in the works, boasting upgrades like a better camera, a more powerful processor, and compatibility with a keyboard cover — all significant changes over the original Pixel Tablet.

VPN by Google is now available for download on Pixel Tablets running stable Android 15. Google has not officially confirmed the expansion, but the app functions properly on Pixel Tablets. This comes soon after Google reportedly canceled its long-awaited Pixel Tablet 2 over concerns about profitability.

Google's Pixel tablet range has had a bit of a turbulent history, with Google announcing it was stopping production of tablets back in 2019. However, it then teased the Pixel Tablet in 2022, which was then released in 2023. Sadly, it seems history is repeating itself, as a new report has indicated that Google is stepping out of the tablet market.
