NEW YORK — A number of President-elect Donald Trump 's most prominent Cabinet picks and appointees have been targeted by bomb threats and “swatting attacks," Trump's transition team said Wednesday. The FBI said it was investigating.

Trump border czar Tom Homan says his family has received death threats in the past and that the recent threats against Trump officials means he now takes them more seriously.

The Trump transition team said Wednesday that several of President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet and administration picks were targeted in overnight attacks that ranged from " swatting" incidents to bomb threats.
