Crew members aboard a Liberian-flagged ship set ablaze by a series of attacks in the Red Sea have abandoned the vessel as it took on water.

The Liberian-flagged bulk carrier, Magic Seas, reportedly sunk following an attack by Yemen's Houthi forces in the Red Sea. The incident raises tensions in the region, involving gunfire, rockets, and explosive-laden boats.

Ambrey said in a separate advisory that the ship was later attacked by four Unmanned Surface Vehicles. “Two of the USVs impacted the port side of the vessel, damaging the vessel’s cargo,” Ambrey added. UKMTO said the attack resulted in a fire onboard and that the incident was ongoing.
