Update: A DHL Boeing 737 freighter has an accident while attempting to land in Vilnius, Lithuania – what we know so far.

A DHL cargo plane crashed near Vilnius Airport. The plane exploded on impact. Three crew members survived with injuries. One crew member died. The pilots did not report any problems. Authorities are investigating the crash.

The aircraft crashed at 5:30 a.m. local time, Ramūnas Matonis — who is the head of communications for the Lithuanian police — tells PEOPLE in a statement. Matonis also said that a Spanish citizen had died in the crash, while three people (from Spain, Germany and Lithuania) were injured.
