Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Summer is a critical time for school districts as they finalize the upcoming year’s financial plans and staffing decisions. However, many Idaho districts are now scrambling after federal funds were frozen at the last minute.

Almost $7 billion in federal funding supports a range of public K-12 programs at schools across the country. That amount will now be withheld by the government.
