House Republican leaders are scrambling to shore up support for President Trump's massive domestic policy bill amid pushback to the Senate's changes, as the GOP seeks to approve the final version of the legislation ahead of a July 4 deadline to get the bill to the president's desk.

“It looks like the House is ready to vote tonight,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “We had GREAT conversations all day, and the Republican House Majority is UNITED, for the Good of our Country, delivering the Biggest Tax Cuts in History and MASSIVE Growth. Let’s go Republicans, and everyone else – MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

The Tax Policy Center, which provides nonpartisan analysis of tax and budget policy, projected the bill would result next year in a $150 tax break for the lowest quintile of Americans, a $1,750 tax cut for the middle quintile, and a $10,950 tax cut for the top quintile. That’s compared to what they’d face if the 2017 tax cuts expired.
