Israeli forces carried out several new drone and artillery strikes in Lebanon on Tuesday, further shaking a tenuous ceasefire meant to end more than a year of fighting with Hezbollah.

Surge in strikes have strained truce between Israel and Hezbollah. While insurgents in Syria make fresh gains against forces of Assad to fuel spike in tension across the Middle East
