The Toronto Maple Leafs simply can't catch a break as one of Auston Matthews' teammates has now entered a contract dispute shortly after the organization parted ways with Mitch Marner.

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed and traded star right winger Mitch Marner to the Vegas Golden Knights Monday, ending the 100-point player's stint with the team and leaving a massive hole at a key position on the offensive side of the puck.

Nicolas Roy is a solid third-line center who will help the Leafs and represents maybe the best-ever return in a sign-and-trade deal.
