Titans rookie QB Cam Ward learns key lesson after incident with three-time Pro Bowler
During Monday's practice, Ward threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Calvin Ridley. The No. 1 pick of the 2025 NFL Draft subsequently tapped Simmons and hit his signature "Zombieland" celebration. The three-time Pro Bowler didn't appreciate that, so he shoved the QB, resulting in a brief fight between the offense and the defense.
On a more serious note, Ward is looking to better his footwork as the Titans prepare for Friday’s preseason finale against Minnesota at Nissan Stadium. The number one overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft is 7-for-15 (46.7 percent) in two preseason contests, with zero touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 71.3 percent NFL quarterback rating.

Sneed (quadriceps) passed his physical and returned to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports ... Sneed was limited to just five regular-season games for the Titans in 2024 and finished with 23 tackles (19 solo).
The Titans did activate Sneed from their active/PUP list Wednesday, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport notes. Sneed will return to work in a limited capacity, though he voiced an expectation ( via Main Street Media’s Terry McCormick) of a Week 1 return.
