The 2.0 is ungodly slow, unbearable at times. But, the 2.0 is THE most bullet proof, reliable, time tested engine Volkswagen makes (and in my opinion any engine ever.) It's literally the same block and head, and even the same intake design (different material) that has been used on ever 8 valve NA engine since the 2nd generation.

Nov 6, 2020 · I own a 2013 2.5L Highline and love it, the 2.5L is definitely the most reliable from what I’ve heard from other VW owners as well as people from the group, I’ve ran into some small inconveniences but nothing too major, currently have an issue with my car shutting off at idle randomly, but from what I’ve read it’s because of crankshaft position sensor.

Avoid them like the plague. They let their sellers profit from other peoples work. We have contacted them about multiple Trademark breaches from someone who has cloned some our products straight from our webpage and is listing them on there.
